We offer carbon-neutral shipping, operate our studio on renewable energy, and take back our empty glass containers to reintroduce into production—creating a true closed-loop system. Thoughtful, responsible, and always evolving, we’re dedicated to minimizing waste and protecting our planet for future generations.

Our Packaging

Every element of our packaging is designed with sustainability in mind. We only use materials that are recyclable, reusable, or compostable. We offer refills to help reduce single-use waste. Even our shipping materials—boxes, padding, and tape—are plastic-free and fully compostable and recyclable.

By choosing intentional, low-impact packaging, we ensure that every Urban Oreganics product supports a cleaner, greener future.

Our Ingredients

We believe that what you put on your skin matters. That’s why every ingredient we use is 100% natural, plant-based, and sourced with care. We partner with responsible suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability and ethical practices, prioritizing organic and fair-trade ingredients whenever possible. To further reduce our footprint, we source locally whenever we can—supporting small farms and minimizing transportation impact. Pure, intentional, and always eco-conscious, our formulations are as good for the planet as they are for your skin.

Re:Turn

As part of our mission to minimize waste and close the loop, we invite you to Re:Turn your empty glass Urban Oreganics containers. Each one is carefully sanitized and reintroduced into production, ensuring nothing goes to waste. This circular approach allows us to reduce our environmental impact while staying true to our values of intentional living and mindful consumption.

End-Of-Life Guide

Glass Jars & Bottles: Reuse, repurpose, refill, Re:Turn to be reintroduced into production in our closed-loop system, or recycle curbside.

Caps, Pumps, Droppers, and Spray Tops: Reuse, or recycle for free in the BeautyCycle bin at any Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack location.

Shipping Boxes, Mailers & Paper Padding: Reuse, compost or recycle curbside.

Biodegradable Corn Peanuts: Reuse, compost or dissolve in water.

Reusing or repurposing is the most sustainable choice—it saves energy, reduces waste, and extends the life of materials before they ever need to be recycled.

Reused, Not Wasted

At Urban Oreganics, we believe every little step towards sustainability matters. That’s why some of our shipping materials may look a bit “lived in.” We proudly reuse boxes and padding materials whenever possible to reduce waste and extend their life.

We invite our local customers to drop off gently used compostable peanuts and kraft packing paper at our home studio. Please contact us to arrange drop off.
